Palma shore · year round · small groups

We start scattered. We finish breathing.

A beach-yoga retreat the size of a long exhale — Vinyasa on the sand, breathwork, sound cleansing and a walk along the coast, on the same Palma shoreline I've taught for years.

Not a class you drop into.
A breath you're walked through.

Most people arrive a little wound up — phone still warm in the hand, shoulders somewhere near the ears. That's the right place to start. The whole retreat is built like a single breath: we draw the day up slowly, hold a quiet middle, let it all go, and stand up lighter than we sat down.

Groups stay small on purpose. I want to see your face, correct a wrist, hear when the breathing changes. It's meditative and energetic Vinyasa, breath techniques you can take home, sound and didgeridoo cleansing, and the kind of guided meditation that talks confidence and self-love without the eye-roll.

  • Meditative & energetic Vinyasa on the sand
  • Breathwork for an actual, ordinary day
  • Sound bath & didgeridoo cleansing
  • Chi Gong, chakra work & deep relaxation

One day, drawn as one breath

No fixed timetable bolted to a wall. The shape is always the same four movements — we just let the sea and the light set the pace.

  1. Inhale

    Morning on the sand

Bare feet, flat light, the slow Vinyasa that wakes the body up without shouting at it.

  2. Hold

    Breath & sound

Breathing techniques, didgeridoo and a sound bath — the still middle of the day where the noise drops out.

  3. Exhale

    Coastal walk

A mindful hike along the shore — some retreats reach the old monastery, all of them reach quiet.

  4. Rise

    Sea-view sunset

Deep relaxation as the light goes warm, a sea-view sunset, then a good book and no plans.

Ciudad Jardín, Palma —
five minutes by bike

We're on the calm, white-sand stretch of Ciudad Jardín, on the Palma side of the bay. The historic centre is a short ride down the seafront; the airport is roughly fifteen minutes away — easy to fold the retreat into a longer detox break on the island.

My home sits about a kilometre back from the water — a five-minute bike ride — with an organic garden, fruit trees, figs and lemons, and a half-board option for those who'd rather not think about meals.

I teach what I actually live

I'm Sandra Van Olmen — yoga instructor and, on the quieter, ceremonial side of things, a practising shaman. I've held these retreats on the Mallorca coast for years, year round.

The photo isn't a stock model — that's an ordinary practice morning, somewhere past fifty. I'm not promising a new you in a weekend. I'm offering a few honest days of breath, movement and sea air, and the techniques to keep a little of it once you've flown home.

"Breathe calmly out. You're never alone on the way back to yourself."

Hold yourself a place on the sand

Tell me roughly when you'd like to come and how many of you there are — I keep dates flexible and groups small, and I'll write back myself with what's open.
